Dr. Paul Bongat is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of rheumatologic conditions ranging from rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, dermatomyositis, gout and osteoarthritis. He believes the best treatment for patients comes from a collaborative approach by empowering them with the knowledge needed to become partners in their own care, and with multispecialty physicians who manage other manifestations that present with rheumatic autoimmune diseases.

Dr. Bongat obtained his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado. He achieved his goal of becoming a rheumatologist at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Florida.
